How to Take Screenshots (with Mac and Windows)

First this is how to with windows:

First get to where you want to take a picture. Then press PRT SCRN on the top of the keyboard next to F12. Finally click start at the bottom left of your screen then click all programs then accesories then Paint.When your in it press Ctrl V on your keyboard and a picture of your previous screen will come up. Then click on the bottem box in all the tools like to draw and stuff near the top. Drag the box over the spot if you don’t want the whole screen picture. Then right click the boxed area and click “copy to” maybe like a folder of pix or something. To make it able to go on a wordpress post or page open the pic with paint and click file at the top then save as and where it says file (I think) pick PNG. Then it’s postable.

Second how to do screenshots with Mac:

First you get the screen you want to take a picture of. Then you click the apple,shift and 4 and then your cursor will turn into a cross like this + sort of. After that click and drag a box around what you want a picture of and it will appear on your desktop called Picture 1.png you should rename it so when you load it to posts the computer doesn’t get mixed up if there is another one with the same name. If you want a full screenshot of the whole screen the instead of 4 use the apple (on the keyboard) ,shift and 3.

Finally how to put them on posts and pages:

First when you in a post or page next to “add media” click the picture icon(if you hold you mouse over it, it should say “add an image”) then click choose files to upload. Then pick the picture. When you get the picture they make it the right format so you don’t have to change it like windows. pick the size there is a list of small,medium,large, and I think it says “Normal Size” or something. After that click upload to this post and where your flashing line thingy lol was where you picture wil appear.

So there you go now you got your pictures on your posts and pages.
